Brian Payne Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I flew to Vegas for last years 3-gun Nationals and had a great time. I didn't enjoy the flight due to the hassles with the airlines. This year I am planning to driving to the Nationals in Bend, the JP shoot at the Whitington Center, and of course just driving the 18 miles to DPMS Tri-gun challenge. My wife likes to come to these shoots so I am possibly purchasing a 24' 5th wheel travel trailer and wondering if anyone could tell me if there are campgrounds for a 5th wheel at Bend and at the Whitington Center? Keith Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I know one of the other MN shooters did the camper thing at Bend two years ago for the Open nationals. I assume you still can. Don't know if they had hookups. There was lots of campers at the JP match last year. There is also some decent cabins for rent at the NRA Center. The one we stayed in did not have air conditioning if that would be a necessity for you or the wife. Don't know what they cost or how fast they fill up.
