CED7000 and CEDgo problem

Hello,

 

I have and old CED7000 that has been working flawlessly and I decided to add a CEDgo light for practice in a crowded indoor range. The CEDgo works as intended by itself, had no problem pairing the TX and RX and the signal gets trigger when I press the test button. The problem comes when I plug the TX to the Aux output of the Timer, it sends one signal while plugging and seems to get stuck (shorted) while plugged. 
 

I’ve tried calling CED for support but after leaving some voice messages I had no response yet. Does anyone here has experience this problem?
