DrJohnson
Brand new to the Forum, so forgive me if this isn't the right place/way to ask this question: I have a new Shadow 2 OR, looking to purchase a Trijicon SRO. I know I need an optics plate, but don't want to buy the wrong one. I see two for very, very different prices: For $95 (CGW) https://chpws.com/product/cz-shadow-2-optics-ready-v4-mil-leo-to-rmr-sro-holosun-407-507-508 For $40 (Ben Stoeger Pro Shop) https://benstoegerproshop.com/cz-p-10-shadow-2-optic-adapter-plate-for-holosun-trijicon-sro/ Normally I would go with the CGW part, but at 2.5x the cost I'm wondering whether there is any difference. $95 seems very high for a simple plate, am I missing something? Anyone have any experience with these or other models? Thanks!
11287
The one for $95 allows you to install a rear sight behind the optic if you want. At the chpws website, they sell the one you have posted and you can also use their P10 plate, with not provisions for rear sight. It is less money. I can say it is a solid mounting plate
hal1955
I got this one from Toni Systems in Italy, I like the cocking serrations. Fits like a glove. Arrived in four days via Fedex.
