Kidd trigger with TK Fireswitch?

Just wondering is anyone has tried the TandemKross Fireswitch mag release with a Kidd trigger group. The Kidd housing is shaped differently and may not be compatible with the TK mag release, has anyone tried this?

I'll answer this since it looks like nobody tried this yet. TK said I can return if it didn't work out so I ordered one to see what the results would be.

Because of the different shape of the trigger housing the Fireswitch won't work for a pull to release but does work if you push it forward. It rattles around a little since it doesn't contact the trigger housing, other wise it works as a standard push release. I'll be sending this back.

 

I modified my Kidd long release by cutting off the end and reattaching it to extend out the side a little to work with my trigger finger. I'm going to cleanup the attachment of the tab out to the side and run with it since it works and looks better than the TK option.
