What equipment did Jerry use?

Hello all.

 

In the video here at 1:00, Jerry mentions winning IDPA nationals with a 3inch 7 shot 686.  In idpa the ssp and esp divisions have a six shot limit.

Does anyone know or has a resource to know what kind of speed loaders and setup the legend used back then? was it speed loaders missing one of bullets? was there a dummy round in speed loader? what brand of speed loader and speed loader holder?

 

I saw in another video his setup for his setup for a 625 45ACP revolver for esp with moon clips.

 

I know new idpa rules allow 357 with moon clips, but at the time of video post (2014), i think 45 cal was required for moon clips.

 

So i am assuming speed loaders and loose rounds in the 3in 686 shown here.
