chp5
So don't laugh, but I really like my Uncle Mikes belt holster. However I recently when with some Dawson adjustable sights and the UM sight channel is too short. Any way to make the sight channel fit? I tried heating it up with a heat gun and reforming it, but it just messed it up and didn't increase the sight chanel.
SCulp
I had the same problem when I got my Dawson sights. I used a round file to remove some of the kydex off the bottom end on the inside and it worked fine. Hope this helps.
AustinMike
I'm using an Uncle Mike's with a G22 and Dawson sights. No problem with fit, but I guess there could be tolerance differences.
chp5
Thanks guys. AustionMike - What size front sight are you using. I have the tallest one.
AustinMike
I'm not sure. I'll have to measure it when I get a chance. I didn't specify anything when I ordered, other than the .100" width. I got the Dawson rear sight together with it.

Trey
I had the same problem with my UM holster and g34/bomar sights. I took a dremel with the round sanding wheel and formed a groove for the sight channel. Hope that helps.
