Loading 9 mm on 650 ejection issue

I have looked and searched but couldn’t find the solution to a minor issue on my 650.

Been loading up some 9mm and about one out of every 7-10 rounds binds up the press and won’t fall off so I have to push it off...... Don’t remember having this issue last time I loaded which has been a while.

I noticed If I go slow and steady which I constantly try to it may only happen every so often but if I get a little faster it happens more.

I did remove the shell plate and clean since I last loaded wondering if I didn’t get some back the same.

It’s the ejector spring. That black spring that goes over the shell plate screw.

 

If they bend just a tiny bit, which oddly enough happens if a cartridge happens to stick on the way out, then the ejector spring just won’t sit quite right and you’ll have issues.

 

I just went to Dillon the other day and grabbed a handful of them. If you’re out of state call them and have them send you a couple.

Hope that cures it. I just processed 8300 5.56 case and went through 2 of them.
