Ragnar175 Posted May 28, 2019 Share Posted May 28, 2019 So I’m just transitioning to Open from Carry Optics and have an STI Trubor on the way to get started. I’ll upgrade to an Akai once I make M again, or once I get too impatient lol. Anyway, I do want to make the entirety of the pistol black, whereas the Trubor barrel/comp and some small components are silver. What finish (DLC, PVD, Nitride, etc) is ideal for use on the barrel. I don’t know how tight the old STI tolerances were, but I’m concerned that one or more of these finishes might add enough thickness to hinder the barrel to slide fit. Thanks in advance!
