pact mkIV triggering a spinning target

HI

I'm trying to set up a bill drill stage with a spinning target for our local idpa match.

what I have so far is the target with a door lock motor mounted on it, when I apply power to it, it spins the target, then reverse the voltage and it spins back.

the timmer pulses when the buzzer goes off, then pulses again when the buzzer goes off after the par time is up.

what I have come up with but no tried yet is hooking the timer to a relay to apply power to spin the target then the target switches a switch to change polarity then the timer would send the target back.

is there a better way?
