mvmojo Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 Let her handle a Ruger Mark IV at your local gun shop. If it's anywhere near a decent fit, call Scott at Volquartsen and discuss with him. If she's seriously interested in steel challenge, spend the dollars now for a Volquartsen Black Mamba Mark IV 22/45 with fiber optic front sight and a target rear sight. If/when she wants to move to an optic, you can easily add a C-More, etc. later. With a Volquartsen, she'll never be able to blame the gun or have to wonder if a better gun would make her a better shooter. Winning will be entirely up to her!
