tthrower
Hi, I want to make a few barricade walls to use in practice. Most of the one's I see at matches are pvc or tube steel with construction mesh fencing inserts attached with strip ties. I would prefer to go with pvc for my use since it's light. Is this the recommended material and what diameter pvc? How should I secure them to the ground? If there are any plans or photos that are available that would be helpful. Otherwise, I'll just wing it. Thanks, Edited November 27, 2018 by tthrower
Flatland Shooter
I use target stands I made out of 1-1/2" PVC pipe with 1" x 2" sticks. Just staple old targets or cardboard. Walls longer than several feet long take two stands to make. I don't need the cardboard to run all the way to the ground. Just enough "wall" to act as a vision barrier (usually around 18"). I have holes in the stands to nail them down but as long as its not a windy day, I don't need to stake it down.
