AZGunut Posted August 13, 2005 Share Posted August 13, 2005 Hi everyone, I have a stupid question in regards to the EGW Magwell for the STI/SVI guns. Will stock factory STI 126mm mags with the factory basepads seat in this magwell? They will not work with the SV magwell but they do seat with the STI magwell. I really like EGW and would like to use one of theirs it it will let me shoot my 126mm mags. Also if anyone has a picture of the bottom of the gun with the mag inserted in the EGW magwell to show approx. clearance I woul really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for any help you can give. E53X5 Posted August 13, 2005 Share Posted August 13, 2005 No, they won't, unless you have very "meaty" palms/hands to push the mag all the way in. EGW magwell is a hair short of 6/8" tall, while STI magwell is a hair short of 5/8". That 1/8" is enough to make that much difference. I have skinny palms/hands, and even STI magwell takes some extra effort to get those 126mm mags seated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
