TBF Posted August 11, 2005 Share Posted August 11, 2005 VS, The GS 230 is a great bullet, it even shoots well out of a carbine over healthy doses of slow powder . I have used 4.3 - 4.8 Gr. bullseye under these same bullets with excellent results. 4.3 has been the load for accuracy in my guns. I use Win. primers and whatever cases happened to be on hand. 4.8 Gr Bullseye under a 230 GS is not really pushing max, IIRC the book listed max for most 230'S is higher. Travis F.
