RickyH
I started using the mags that come with my Shadow 2 and Henning base pads. It will not go in the battery when I seat the mag and if it does it's really slow. I was using mec-gar 17 and 16 round mags with Springer base pads and they were fine. What could be the problem? rowdyb
The Henning design, which I use as well, does not stop the mag from over inserting. The Springer or CZC ones normall contact the frame with the front lip, similar to a 1911 mag, to prevent this. With the Henning having no front lip this doesn't happen. I use the Henning for everything but idpa, because in idpa I expect to do slide lock reloads.
