Sixgun
This is my homebuilt (from a STI short block) Limited blaster. Doug Jones of Acc-U-Rail fame did the safety checks and machining that I'm not capable of. I shot the gun for about a year in the white and just had Doug send it off to be coated. I'll be shooting it in a match tomorrow, with no more worries about rusting. Although it had quite a bit of "character" when it was last seen. That was nothing that the sandblaster didn't take care of! I'm happy with the outcome, and now I'll try to wear it out! It definately shoots better than I do! Interceptor
What is Tefni-2000, hard chrome type, or spray on, or what?
Sixgun
It is nickel phosphorous compound with Teflon added. As I understand it, it is very similar to a Robar NP3 type coating. http://www.westfieldplating.com/finish.html]Tefni-2000[/url] So far I like it!
