Sti Conversion kit .22 magazine modification

Hi all,

I recently bought a sti branded conversion kit and I got 4 magazines to go with it. However de magazines only hold 10 rounds and probaly 9 for real.

 

I have been doing a lot of research this week and the information is very limited.

 

I would like to upgrade the capacity of my magazines. Is there anyway i can do this? For instances can I use diffrent

Baseplates and if so what kind? Or can I do some modifications on the follower?

P.S I will be using it on my 2011 sti

They don't have rods under the followers do they? Mine did, I cut them off.

If you have the aluminum Tactical solutions magazines, cut the steel rod off the bottom of the follower and shorten the magazine spring. The springs in my magazines were way too long.

My mags hold 14 rds.

If you have the plastic Advantage Arms magazines, You can shorted the magazine spring plug, I made some new plugs out of aluminum and the mags hold 15 rds.
