WCRHC IPSC66 August 28th Match

Online Registration and squadding is open for the August 28th WCRHC match. Please register at the provided link (Supplied below) then squad! When you squad, Select the squad, then say YES to the popup window, then click the "select squad" button at the bottom of the page (many people are missing this last step and not being locked into their squad). The match is 9 courses of fire and ~250rds. Payment/Registration verification window will open by 8:30am and close promptly at 09:30am. Shooters meeting ~9:45am and we should be shooting by 10:00am. Geoff was quicker than I was this morning on putting out the announcement.....................9 stages, 235 rounds.....

If you come in and find the main parking lot full, remember that the field to the right just before you make the right turn into our main parking lot is now available for parking.

Match should flow well with good stage design and round counts per stage. As usual, lots of hard cover (ok, maybe some of the guys just like sniffing the paint...hmmm.....) and no shoots on targets in order to make you aim.....I have heard a rumor from some in the set up crew that they found a box of mini targets and that an entire stage is just "begging" for them to be used on it. There might even be a "bomb" on a stage that you may have to dispose of (ya just never know when that may come in handy....)

The executive council met last week to discuss the October end of the year theme match (our yearly tradition). This year we are having the Mulligan match. That means that each shooter gets the opportunity to shoot 1 stage over (their mulligan like in golf) if they screwed the pooch, ran by a target, missed a shot ect.......they have to call it before it is scored or they have a chance to review the hits so the RO can just have the stage reset. In order to facilitate this we will have a reduced number of slots available. That final # is not set in stone yet but just be aware of it when the match email comes out allowing you to squad.  More details to follow as we get closer to the match.
