686+
I opened up my 4583 to change some of the springs and lighten the trigger pull. I got the Wolff sets for the hammer spring and the rebound slide spring. I would like to use the lightest possible spring while still being able to use CCI Blazer ammo, (no time to reload right now). I want to put in the 16lb hammer spring and a 3lb rebound spring. The gun has MIM parts. Anyone know if springs this light will cause problems? Thanks in advance. 686+
followup: polished everything I could think off and put in the 17lb hammer spring, and the 3lb drawbar spring. Everything works nice and I am running CCI blazers without failures to fire. Contemplating a 16 lb spring next. BTW: checked the pull with an improvised trigger scale and the results were: 9lb start pull with a spike to 11lb and then a return to 9lb. The trigger feels like a revolver and is very nice and smooth for DAO setup. I think the 2lb spike is the scear leaf spring deforming, think of a tapemeasure the way it is easy to start to bend it and then it is hard untill it flatens out and then is easy again.
