Nebwake
Are there any decent grip panels out there for 228's? not that I hate the stock ones, but the housing for the decocker is a little large for my grip and the panels are pretty slippery (not that grip tape would not fix that)
icestud
You might take a look at Hogue https://www.hogueinc.com/grips/sigsauer/p228/dasa
JAFO
Hogue is your best bet for alternative plastic, wood, or G-10 grips. You won't find one that gets rid of the decocker hump, since there are parts under there that must have room to operate. But perhaps a different profile or material would make you notice it less. You can also look at E2 grips (I think they will fit on a 228), but those would require you to change the mainspring, mainspring strut, and mainspring seat as well. Nebwake
Thanks for the input. Ill have to check out the hogues. Unfortunately the e2s will not work for me as this is a duty gun Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
JAFO
Is this a new production 228? Some of the newer models have been coming from the factory with the E2 strut/seat already installed. If they are already in there, all you need are the E2 grips. No other parts to change. Pull one of your grip panels off and check to see what the strut/seat look like. This is the E2 grip kit, you can see the short seat: Here is an installed non-E2 strut/seat (ignore the red arrow): Edited February 2, 2016 by JAFO
Nebwake
I kind of doubt it, its a German made gun.
