8shooter Posted April 5, 2005 Share Posted April 5, 2005 Rant mode on:- I was filling in my Sunday afternoon just gone in the usual way... cleaning guns. I had a flash back to something I read on this forum about small modifications that can make a world of difference to speed and smoothness in shooting. I was putting my 627 super back together, and for the first time really noticed how POSITIVE the ball detent locked in the Big "V" groove which is not that subtle. A light rub with the needle file to remove the edge and the lock in is still positive but alot smoother opening and closing the cylinder, making it easier to reload.
