Yes, I followed that discussion, too, but has anything changed since then? A lot of folks are referencing that March 2007 document, but it doesn't appear that's what the board approved in June 2009 and what officially went into effect July 1, 2009. It's hard for me to interpret and I sure could be wrong but it doesn't appear the aftermarket exclusion or clause was approved. John Amidon himself referenced the July 9, 2009 changes when answering a question in Front Sight and what he included in the article specifically states that aftermarket magazine releases are not allowed.
