TheGodfather Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 I'm looking to use my p239 in idpa ccp next year and would like to have 8 round mags instead of 7. I have noticed some individuals had problems with the 9 round not feeding correctly. Any problems with the 40? Also I have always had a problem with my thumb holding down the slide release so it won't stay at slide lock. However, it looks like ccp falls under esp rules so I can grind off half if the slide release. Anyone else having this problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JAFO Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 I can't help with the magazine question. As far as the thumb, that's a common problem for Sigs. I'm right-handed, and I place my right-hand thumb on the base of my left thumb. Keeps it out of the way for the lever.
