lcs
Long shot (no pun intended) Thought I would try before I bought a new one. Anyone have one gathering dust they might want to sell?
ShooterSteve
What kind of shooting will you do with it?

FlightMurse
That's a whole lot of zoom! Do you go up to 55x often in F-class?
ShooterSteve
I don't shoot F class, but the people I've talked to use all the magnification that they can. Of course you have to take the environment into account with your zoom, but big magnification and 1/8" clicks are the norm.

FlightMurse
Interesting. I have never shot in an F-Class match, but I do quite a bit of shooting at 300 yards and I don't even turn my scope up to its full power (22). Maybe on the high dollar scopes the eye box is more forgiving on the higher zooms, but its a pain on my vortex hst.
DWFAN
I run my 15-55x on 55x the majority of the time. Only when the edges of the Xring become too blurry and washed on with the 10ring from the mirage does it get turned down. Willbas
55X is sure nice at 600 and 1000 yards. But this time of year I am down to 25 to 35X due to mirage
