joeg Posted June 21, 2015 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Just got around to making some major loads for my czechmate and was wondering, those that have these pistols in open, what recoil springs do you run with the major PF? factory, upgraded, reduced? What main spring do you use...factory or reduced (13# or less). The factory seems to work well with Major PF (use 6.5gr autocomp/124gr bullet 166.5PF). Just curious as what others use and their experiences with the pistol... or if their is a thread closely related to this subject, let me know by copying the link... CZ85Combat Posted June 21, 2015 Share Posted June 21, 2015 I now run a 11# recoil spring. 6.6gr autocomp with 124gr jhp, @1.160 OAL only got me 164.3PF, it took 7.1gr to get me to 171PF. I now use N350 @7.2gr 124gr. jhp @ 1.150 & get 170PF. moving to 115gr jhp@1.140 with N350@ 7.6gr 169PF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried the 6.5 twice to make sure i was getting a correct reading. the chrono showed almost(+- 2-3 avg) the same avg on both 5shot groups.
