Bumkin
Last night I noticed that my shell platform/roller bracket assembly had come loose & I had to tighten the 2 mounting screws from the underside. With the platform fully raised it was still a pain to get the allen wrench in to tighten the screws. I pretty much had to stand on my head and wished I had hands the size of an infant. Is there an easy way to do this or a technique without having to remove the entire shell plate assembly? Any tricks from those who have had to do this in the past? I have only had the 550 for about 4 months now.
Youngeyes
A long handle allen wrench works fine. Not sure how high your press is or how tall you are, but mine are fairly easy to get to. Yes, you have to stoop a bit.
Walnut
I agree with Youngeyes, if you have a long 6" or longer 3/32" Allen wrench it can be done. The other choice is to pull the shell platform but that is a diffrent whole job.

wtcmc
You might want to purchase a Bondhus long T-handle ball driver for this job.
