XDm PRP Striker

I was looking at Powder River's site for some more goodies for my XDm 5.25 and I saw their polished striker. What are the benefits of this part over stock?

ETA: I just saw that Springer has one as well so same question for that one also.

With powder rivers extreme trigger kit they use a lighter striker spring I believe. I would think a polished striker would eliminate friction to help to eliminate light primer strikes.? I have the extreme kit (which is amazing) and thought about getting one for that reason. That being said I have not experienced any light primer strikes. Hopefully somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
