DDustin
I was looking at Powder River's site for some more goodies for my XDm 5.25 and I saw their polished striker. What are the benefits of this part over stock? ETA: I just saw that Springer has one as well so same question for that one also. jarvis243
With powder rivers extreme trigger kit they use a lighter striker spring I believe. I would think a polished striker would eliminate friction to help to eliminate light primer strikes.? I have the extreme kit (which is amazing) and thought about getting one for that reason. That being said I have not experienced any light primer strikes. Hopefully somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
Chuckie45
Springer's is polished where it contacts the seat to lighten the trigger pull. It also has a much pointier striker face to increase reliable ignition.
