Rottenman
We all know what the outside looks like so I wont bother with that .Slide - notice the Mod.2 on the left has the semi wadcutter bump.Recoil spring assembly - notice the bottom spring from the Mod.2 has the thin end similar to the xds recoil spring assembly as opposed to the upper one in the photo from the XD svcBarrel lug - top is Mod.2 lower is XD svcSide by side shots of the new barrel lug
Rottenman
I just tried the Mod.2 45 in my KT-Mech 'Gunfighter' holster i had made for my XD svc 45. It snapped right in and retention was just as good. i did notice while doing the check that the take down levers are in a different position on the Mod.2.Even though the backs of the pistols were lined up in this shot its kind of hard to tell so I measured from the back of the slide (not the back of the frame) to the rear most point on the takedown leversvc - 3.78m2 - 3.47I dont think this will cause a major problem in using the Mod.2 in leather holsters made for the XD svc. But as far as kydex goes I think that optimal retention might be affected depending on how closely the holster is molded for the XD svc.
