opensol Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 i just finished a caliber conversion from 9mm to 45acp. Now the casefeed arm is not lining up with the casefeed bushing (medium) so cases are not falling. Looks like the slide cam is not pushing the casefeed arm enough to make the alignment. BritinUSA Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Did you perform the actions from Step 16 (page 40) in the manual for caliber conversions. I think the cam adjustment not only pushes the case into location 1 but also activities the mechanism that drops the case from the feeder. Also, I think if you over tighten that nut at the top it could interfere with the smooth functioning of that lever. MrG5122 Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Loosen the slide cam bolt and move the cam toward the shell plate as far as it will go and tighten the bolt as much as you are comfortable with.
