Smitty79
A while back, I bought a used (I am at least the 3rd owner) 40 cal TS. It had a stock front sight and an adjustable rear sight. In 40 cal, this gun's a hoot to shoot but I wanted something for 3 gun and steel that can shoot 9mm.I put a 6.5 mm high Dawson front fiber sight on it and bought a CZC 9mm barrel. I had the barrel fitted by a local gunsmith.Off to the range to sight in today. 15 shots later, the 40 cal is shooting a ragged hole, in the middle of the target, at 7 yds. I took a quick 5 shots with the 9mm barrel, POA is right on POI and the gun ran fine. I didn't have time to shoot more as my Production gun was telling me it was time to practice. The most interesting thing is that in 9mm, the fiber doesn't get out of the notch when the gun recoils.
