RippSpeed
I've search and couldnt find an answer. I received a Winchester 1200 Home Defender shotgun from my dad who passed away. And its been sitting stock. Its just has a pistol grip but I wanted to put a Magpul forend and stock on it ... Is this even a possibility ??? this thing has alot of sentimental value to me ... so I cant just sell it or keep it in the safe untouched... Headworked
Rippspeed, Almost anything is possible if you want to put enough work into it... You need to research how the Magpul stock locates and engages the receiver... Along with a long fastener (purchased or homemade) needed, you may have to do some work or fabricate a locator plate to go from magpul stock to receiver... I don't expect you'd buy them not knowing if they fit or not... If you can borrow them, and measure 'em up and compare to the Winchester furniture, you'd have a better idea if it was possible.. Do like I used to do... Take a pair of calipers to the gun shop, and make some sketches off one of theirs laying around Edited November 30, 2014 by Headworked
