BOOM
In your opinion ; I like the idea of a buying a complete 16 inch mid -length upper.adding a adjustable gas block with all the other things a Comp, Lightweight bolt, buffer exct. Wondering if by adding these parts the rifle would be noticeable better (softer) in recoil while still being reliable was the GOAL
openclassterror
I run a 16" middy with a fluted Noveske Recon barrel, JP LMOS and lightweight rifle buffer, pretty much the setup you are describing. Everyone who has shot it is surprised by the softness and controllability. Here is a youtube vid showing how little it moves. Skip to 1 minute. One of the cameras is mounted on the gun itself, and doesn't even bounce. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aXI7hlRNPM
