Quackhead Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Hi, My name is Jeff. I have always had a pistol or two and shoot a mag or two every couple of months. In the last 6 months I have developed a very deep and profound interest in AR's, pistols, etc...joined a local range and My oldest daughter and I shoot every chance we get. It is like a fever all of a sudden, shooting 100's of rounds per week at silhouettes. One of my co-workers has been talking about matches and how I needed to try it. I shot my first match 3 weeks ago. A USPSA match in San Antonio, Tx. WOW..I was completely blown away by the experience. I finished 51/52, but like my RO, Mr. Don Hardy said, "Son, nobody will remember your first match, but you." In the last 2 weeks, I have shot a Steel Challenge and 2 other steel matches...the fever is rampant now, and my scores are improving. Thank yall.
