3djedi
Ok so I have an adjustable rear sight on a limited and the screw is turned all the way left and the bullet is still impacting to the right a bit. Funny, because every gun I've owned shoots left Anyway, I was going to knock the whole sight over a bit in the dovetail but just wanted to ask if there is a set screw in there somewhere before I start hitting on it. I don't see anything........ Here is the brand sight.... http://www.precisionsalesintl.com/Product/TRT_product_page.html
kneelingatlas
Yes, remove the elevation screw and flip the center of the sight up, should be two 3mm screws.

3djedi
Isn't there supposed to be a safety plunger in this hole?
kneelingatlas
yes that's where the firing pin block would be

3djedi
Why do you suppose one would remove it?
kneelingatlas
The old style Henning firing pin won't work with it, plus is can cause problems when you're pushing the envelope with a light trigger.
3djedi
Oh so it's not uncommon to run without it? Should I order the parts to put it back in?
kneelingatlas
Nah, if you want one I'm sure I have a few.
3djedi
Is it a drop safety?
bikerburgess
yes, it blocks the firing pin unless the trigger is being pulled (or more accurately the little arm on the sear needs to not be holding it up)
