I got a new set of sights for it (fiber optic) and the package deal for front and rear had a stake-on front sight. Does anyone have installation techniques or instructions for installing a stake-on style front sight? I was initially going to look at doing a dovetail, but the package of the front/rear that I wanted was only available with the stake-on front. BEDELLCUSTOM Posted January 10, 2005 Share Posted January 10, 2005 are they millett sights. whether they are millett sights or not, if the front sight is a stake on, then you need the sight staking tools to attach it. go to page 296 of brownells catalog #57 and there are a few different tools available. also on page 304 is the millett front sight installation kit.
