I built a prototype today for my open glock with slide ride optic. Feels great, gonna do some shooting tomorrow and test it a bit more. I made mine rather long and wide but I was just guessing on both measurements. I did see DAA had their original one at 16mm and their new one is 11mm. Mine is 18mm wide. Thanks in advance guys. Tino2212 Posted May 26, 2014 Share Posted May 26, 2014 The original 16mm DAA thumbrest is for use on a open gun the 11mm is made for a standard gun because on some guns the 16mm made the gun to wide to fit the box .
