baron6
I've had a recurring problem over the past couple years of shooting my Shadow SP01. I use the case it came in to store it, and frequently when I take it out after it's been in there a while, the rear sight has drifted. The set screw is in there tightly. I have witness marks to drift it right back, but it's irritating nonetheless. What options are people liking for rear sights?
alma
It's a fixed sight and it's drifting by itself while in the case? Is it physically loose? Any chance your house was built on an old Indian burial ground? CZ Custom has a few different options for Shadow cut sights. I don't think you can get them many other places. Have you tried some red loctite?
SpankYa
+1 on loctite. Mine did the same. It's a fixed sight and it's drifting by itself while in the case? Is it physically loose? baron6
I have loctited the set screw but I'm going to take it out and loctite the sight proper. It is the strangest thing, I can't figure out how it just slides out in the case but it's fine in matches, practice, etc.
alma
Yeah, that's really odd. Maybe put the case away vertically to hold gravity at bay.
