Does anyone have a Brazos BCG Pro Series in 9mm?

Narrow it down: are you talking about a limited gun or an open gun?

For open (shooting major) I recommend 38 super because I believe the best setup in 38 super is better than the best setup in 9mm. For shooting steel in open the 9mm would work as well as the 38 super. I build guns in 9mm for the customer that still wants it knowing the limitations going in and they feel that the savings in brass was more important than trying to wring the last little bit of performance out of the gun.

In a limited gun purpose built for steel the 9mm would be the perfect setup, cheap ammo and low recoil. Realize that it would not be the best setup to also shoot USPSA limited with because you will have to shoot minor no matter how hot you load.

For either setup reliability is not a problem - you just set the gun up to run with the ammo selected.

Thanks for the reply Bob. I should've stated I was interested in a limited gun but I assumed that a given since I'm posting in the Limited Gun section.

I already have a Edge in 40 that I use for paper matches, but I also shot a lot of steel matches and was thinking of getting a gun just for that.

Bob, I hope to be giving you a call soon.
