Loves2Shoot
Let me see if I can make it simpler. It is not technique, minor timing issues, ect. It is physics. Given the gun will recoil, the heavier bullet will leave the barrel later than the faster bullet, thus it will have a slightly higher initial trajectory when it leaves the barrel. The slide will also be a bit further back, meaning there is more force on the recoil spring than the faster lighter bullet. That means it SHOULD impact higher on the target. Since the barrel has a twist to spin the bullet, the torque created by the two bullets twisting in the barrel are not equal either, thus the lateral shift SHOULD be expected. Now add in the fact that different weight and shaped bullets will stabilize at different velocities, and you should NOT expect the same impact point for ammunition with different bullet weights, shapes, and velocities. I would NOT suggest trying to change technique, just adjust your sights.
