achard
Hi, Would you prefer chroming both frame & slide or frame only and blued slide? chrome slide - When in shooting position I just want to know if the slide glares under the sun and does it really destruct our eyes? thanks
Wakal
My Limited gun has a chrome matte top and polished sides. No problems, even under the west Texas sun My carry gun is all matte chrome, also no problems (I compete with it now and then, too). Alex
kevin c
My experience is the same as Alex's: matte chrome on the slide (with, granted, a milled and grooved flat top) gives me no problems seeing my blued, fiber optic FS. What gave me fits was my first gun, a matte stainless steel Beretta with the same colored FS - next to impossible to pick up.
Eye Cutter
personal preference for me. but some say that it is easier to track the front sight with a matte chromed slide.
