Shooter115
How are the Nordic tubes and the various carbon fiber? For the money, the Nordic Comp handguards are one of the best deals out there. Weight is not bad and the quality is excellent. Just recently put a 15" HG on my 18" gun. Bill Agree with this completely. I have 4 of them on rifles and am soon to have a 5th. Simply can not be beat for the $$.
Trumpet
how solid are they? Any flex?
Shooter115
how solid are they? Any flex? About as solid as any of them I think. They are all going to flex to some degree especially the 15" HG's, but they are fully floated so it really doesn't matter. Compared to a Midwest the flex is about the same. Compared to a solid Rock River with no venting or lightening slots, it flexes a little more. But on any of the ones I've tried you have to intentionally squeeze the barrel and handguard together to make them flex at all, something you would never notice or be an issue in actual shooting conditions.
