Therealkoop Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 What are your experiences? I have a stash of 75 grainers (.223) loaded with 23.8g of TAC. Half of them are 1.740, and the other half are 1.750. Im experiencing a 100fps difference (2550 vs 2650) between the two (roughly) back to back. Lake city brass, but of different date im sure. 427Cobra Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I seriously doubt case length is the reason for the spread, I don't trim my precision rifle brass until it's .010 from the end of the chamber, it may take 2-4 firings until I do trim, my ES/SD is single digits Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
