Im not sure what is different with the #6, id say they changed the profile a bit to improve reliability. You should be good to go with any aftermarket base pad. Thanks.Nick. I just got two .40 hi caps with the #6 followers as well. The mags seem to rocket out of the gun when I press the mag release.
