CZinSC Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 Do you shoot competitively? If yes, then yes, you will need the mag brake. It allows the magazine to slide in easily. Without the brake, the mag has a very high chance of hanging up while you're inserting it. If you're a plinker, then no, you really don't need it. It is still nice to have, but not necessary.
