SVI TriGlide Trigger /STI Grip

Considering replacing my STI trigger with SVI triglide bow and trigger. Is there a noticeable improvement in the feel from the triglide bow? Also I am undecided as to modify the trigger to fit the STI grip or modify the grip to accept the wider SVI trigger. My thought is that if I am unhappy with the SVI I would be able to revert back to the STI trigger if I choose to modify the trigger rather the grip.

Any first had experience as to improvement with SVI if any as well as modification choice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stephen

modding a SV trigger shoe to fit the STI grip involves thinning the shoe, Which you already know. Major PITA. If you do it yourself, it will never be what you want it to be (well it never was for me). I did it both ways, it cost me one used SV shoe and one STI grip. I did the hybrid install (SVI shoe on STI trigger bow). I ended back with the STI gunsmith trigger, simply because of the STI plastic grip. IF I was going to purchase the PT grips, I would order the SVI trigger.

At the end of the day, you can achieve a sub 1.5-2lb trigger pull on STI triggers and a few other parts with a little know how and tuning. So the extra money is only worth it if you feel it is.

Thanks for the input. All my guns, open and limited have #1.5 triggers which are very crisp save one. It has a #2 with a slight bit of pre-travel. Since I was having my gunsmith work on the trigger I thought I would give the SVI trigger a shot. I had a chance to try one on a friends gun and didn't care for the way my finger melded to the trigger, not bad just different. I thing I will stay with the STI trigger and just have the slight creep removed and lightened.
