Sig Sauer P290 not RS

I would be interested to know if anyone has the P290 and not the RS model with the re strike capability. I have one and it is a great little pistol with one drawback and that is the trigger pull. At the end of the trigger pull it becomes squishy feeling but still I can be combat accurate with it. I inquired as to the cost of upgrading the trigger and it was $150.00 plus the shipping cost which would approach $200.00. This is about 1/3 the cost of this pistol itself and declined doing this.

I have never had a malfunction of any kind with this pistol with factory JHP or FMJ or any of my reloads and it is rated for +P. Does anyone feel the re strike capability is worth the cost? Oh yeah, it is super easy to conceal and I routinely pocket carry it.

I have the p290 and it is my everyday carry. I did send it in and have it upgraded with the RS trigger for no other reason than I wanted it.
