Cavy
I am looking to replace an old C-more polymer slideride. It has cracked the body at the lock screw for the windage adjustment. This is not the first one I've had do this. I am thinking about switching to an aluminum one but don't have any experience with one. I know they are a little heavier. Will it be ok on an Allchin mount or should I get a different mount as well? Any troubles with the aluminum ones? If you use one how do you like it? Thanks, Cavy
Desmo412
I switched to an aluminum slide ride when I had my gun refinished. The aluminum finish PERFECTLY matches the TiAlN finish on the barrel, comp, mount, etc. Also, I love the thumb screws on the battery cover. The aluminum model just looks better in my opinion. I haven't had any problems other than a hard time keeping the mounting screws tight. Had to seriously clean the holes out and use green loctite.
