wmiller11
I recently struggled on slug shots with my two bead system at ironman. Ive already adjusted the shim a but but Im looking for an improved front sight. Im currently using my benelli vinci with its stock benelli bead. I came across hi viz as they sponsor MG matches and wonder what people thought of either the tricomp or comp series front sights. My plan for next year will be to dovetail a ruger 10/22 but im running out of time for my next match to get the work done and test it. Any insight is appreciated or alternative sights Edited June 22, 2013 by wmiller11
gng4life
A lot of guys are going with the XS recessed dovetailed sight for the rear, I love mine. I had a tri-comp on my last M2 and it was ok but I now have a F/O pistol sight dovetailed in a VersaMax and love it. It was recommended by a top 3gunner and I will not go back to regular beads. Benny Hill (Triangle Shooting) and Steve Rose (Rose Action Sports) are very good with this and you won't believe the turn-around times, we are talking days and not weeks or months. I would give one of them a call.
1911 S.I.S.sy
Run the Hiviz and then Paint a small arrow on the back of the vent rib so you can make sure you aren't canting the barrel. I'll try and get a pic of mine up latter today.
wmiller11
Ive seen pat kelleys rear sight and do like it. Just worried about time. Triangle do lifters as well or is that just crums?
