  1. Need some help with a load for 150gr.Hornady FMJ's. Powders to work with are TAC, Varget, and H335. Just don't have a lot of time to mess with it. 18" Seekins SP10. Good accuracy but gamer load.
  2. Check and make sure the primer slide rod that is attached to the primer magazine tube does not contact the bottom of the slide groove before the slide is fully in position.
  3. CMC. Better reset than my SDG3. Or should I say a more positive reset. Plus at half the cost you can't beat it.
  4. If you are talking about add-on items for the 650 that's one thing but you could literally go on and on with what you asked. But in general take your time and be diligent about your process. If something doesn't feel right or look right stop and figure it out.
  5. Buy the caliber conversion kit for 9mm. Since you will need everything in it. ie the shell plate locator buttons powder funnel( goes inside the powder die) case feed adapter I think it's green. You may need a small pistol case feed ate too. Dillon recapping pins are different than lee. Lock rings just use the ones on the lee dies. You want the primer seater tight. Use a box end wrench. An the case feed tube is the same.
  6. "Crossover Finder" for all of Dillon's presses: http://gunwiki.net/apps/calconversion/ This will help with what comparable between the parts.
  7. It's just a stripped down version of the RL550B. Same press minus powder and priming systems.
  8. There is no 3gun in the tricities this Saturday. It's a uspsa pistol classifier match. Once again not 3gun this Saturday. It's normally in September.
  9. You can use the data from a similar projectile to the one you are using that has data. Just remember to always error on the side of caution and work up to the target load.
  10. All pretty good. More of a matter of preference. I like the seekins ones myself.
  11. Guys for the ops original question the way I read it Pat gave the best answer. All loading manual have the data for the projectiles he it talking about.
  12. Make sure the end with the 90 is hooked on the appropriate side of the poder bar actuator. Try turning it around and the cycle the press with nothing in the shell plate and the powder measure loose to see where the rod naturally lines up. Then tighten down the powder measure.
  13. If you haven't fixed it yet. Remember that the case feeder plunger hits the case twice. Once on the bottom and once about half way up or so. I found the second time is the more critical of the two. You really just want it to kiss it at that point. To much and it will start to wobble around like you described. Just adjust the linkage. It is a. PITA in my opinion to get it setup. I still like it though once I figured it out.
  14. I run a Redding competition seater then the Lee factory crimp die.
  15. There is a lot of talk on an other forum that would probably answer most of your questions. Look up snipers hide forum and go to the two reloading sections. Good info there to and most of it is for bolt guns. If I remember right you should hit an accuracy node around 41-42gr. With an OAL of 2.80ish
  16. Curious about the quality of once fired Hornady crimped in primer 223 brass compared to LC NATO brass? Anybody had any experience with it. I believe the stuff I'm looking at was the 55gr. FMJ brass cases training ammo load. It is head stamped as Hornady.
  17. Just use TAC. You can use it for both heavy and light bullets. Performs good in all my rifles with 55's as that's what I shoot now for 3gun.
