Moving stuff on your belt before a match

I did this last weekend at a 3-Gun match and it cost me. Not as much as poor shooting and being out of shape but the equipment placement SNAFU was avoidable. I usually shoot Production or SS USPSA (or Revo, but that is another issue altogether) so am used to grabbing pistol mags at the usual spot. Well, for my first 3-Gun match in almost a year I decided to put a rifle mag carrier first, then my double pistol pouch (really just needed a single pouch but did not have one) then another rifle mag pouch. Heck, I was grabbing a rifle mag when I needed a pistol mag, a pistol mag when I needed a rifle mag, it was a real three ring/gun circus. I would have been better off with my pistol mags in the usual place and rifle mags in pockets.

I usually run one pistol mag in the regular place and throw an extra mag in the back pocket. I use mags large enough to shoot the stage without reloading so the pocket one is an oh crap mag
