A big Mahalo(thank you) to Scott and the guys at Springer Precision for going the extra mile and getting my new production gun to me in less than a week and a half. The trigger feels like what one would expect from a competition gun. I opted for the 3.5 lb trigger. i plan to take it out for the first time this Thursday, weather permitting, and if my buddy comes through with the ammo.

There is no comparison. I got one factory xdm9 and this one. I would say there is less than half of the of the take up and the trigger pull is very crisp. I didn't verify the trigger pull weight as I don't have one of those scales, but it does feel between 3-4 lbs. I wouldn't want it any lighter because of the possibility of an AD.(you can tell I am not a 1911 shooter).
